Cypress Integration Solutions

OSDP tools, in your browser.

Trace, simulate and verify OSDP communication between access control readers and controllers. No install, just a USB serial adapter or a Bluetooth bridge.

The tools

Your OSDP bench, in a browser.

Built by the team that makes OSDP readers and extenders, for integrators who need to see what is on the wire.

Private beta

OSDP Trace

Capture OSDP traffic from a live RS-485 bus and read every packet decoded: addresses, commands, replies, sequence numbers and checksums. Open and save trace files, and filter down to what matters.

Private beta

OSDP Simulator

Act as a controller (ACU) or as a reader (PD) to exercise a device on your bench, with Secure Channel.

Private beta

OSDP Validator

Rehearse the OSDP conformance checklist against a reader or a controller before it goes to a test lab: automated checks, your own verdicts for the rest, and a report you keep. Not a certification.

Coming soon

OSDP Config

Find a reader, read its identity and capabilities, change its address and baud rate, and check whether it is still in install mode with the default key.

Coming soon

OSDP File Transfer

Send a file to a reader, step by step, with an optional Secure Channel session using the default key or your own.

Coming soon

OSDP Cable Test

Test a run of RS-485 cable by sending packets with a check value down it to a device that echoes them back, and counting what comes back damaged.

How it works

Connect. Run. Review.

  1. Connect

Plug in a USB RS-485 adapter, or pair a Bluetooth RS-485 bridge. The browser asks you to pick the device, and only you choose what it can use.

  2. Run

Capture a live bus, scan for readers, poll them, or let the simulator answer as a reader. Timing-sensitive steps run on your computer, next to the hardware.

  3. Review

See each packet explained in plain language, spot bad checksums and wiring problems, and keep the results.

Browser support. USB serial needs desktop Chrome or Edge. Bluetooth works in Chrome and Edge (desktop or Android) and in Bluefy on iPhone.
